Manchester Special Blue Strength
The current Smokers Connect product page lists Manchester Special Blue at 8mg tar and 0.8mg nicotine.
These figures are product specifications shown on the store listing. They should not be used to make claims about health effects, safety, or how a person will experience the product.
It is also useful to separate Manchester Special Blue from other Manchester blue products. A similar colour or name does not mean that two products have the same specifications.
When researching Manchester cigarettes, always check the exact product name and its current listed specifications.
Is Manchester Blue Special Edition the Same as Manchester BLUE Dragon Special Edition?
No. The Smokers Connect catalogue currently shows these as separate products.
Manchester Special Blue is listed as a 10-packet × 20s product at $185. The product page lists 8mg tar and 0.8mg nicotine.
The catalogue also contains Manchester BLUE Dragon Special Edition, which is a different product listing. It is shown as a 10-packet × 20s carton at $185, but the listing currently marks it as sold out.
This distinction is important because searches for “Manchester Blue Special Edition” can bring up different Manchester products. Using the exact product name is the easiest way to avoid mixing their specifications.
Manchester Cigarettes and the Blue Range
Manchester has several products listed on Smokers Connect, including different blue, red and other variants.
The current catalogue includes Manchester Special Blue, Manchester Sapphire Blue, Manchester Blue Crush, Manchester LIGHTS and Manchester Blue Flow Filter. Other Manchester products include Manchester Red, Manchester Royal Red, Manchester Reserve and Manchester Double Drive.
This means that the phrase Manchester cigarette does not identify one single product. The complete variant name is needed when comparing price, pack size or product specifications.
Manchester Sapphire Blue Strength
Manchester Sapphire Blue is another blue Manchester product listed by Smokers Connect.
The current Smokers Connect product listing shows Manchester Sapphire Blue as a 10-packet × 20s carton priced at $185.
A separate Smokers Connect article lists Manchester Sapphire Blue at 5mg tar and 0.6mg nicotine. Because strength information is product-specific, the current packaging or product listing should be checked before publishing these figures as definitive.
This also shows why Manchester Special Blue and Manchester Sapphire Blue should not be treated as interchangeable products.
Manchester Special Blue is listed at 8mg tar and 0.8mg nicotine, while the available Manchester Sapphire Blue information states 5mg tar and 0.6mg nicotine.
Manchester Royal Red
Manchester Royal Red is a separate product in the Manchester range.
The current Smokers Connect listing shows Manchester Royal Red (10 packets × 20s) at $185. The product page lists 12mg tar and 0.9mg nicotine.
This makes Manchester Royal Red another useful example of why the Manchester product name matters. It has different listed specifications from Manchester Special Blue.
For a direct comparison:
| Manchester product | Carton format | Listed price | Tar | Nicotine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Manchester Special Blue | 10 × 20s | $185 | 8mg | 0.8mg |
| Manchester Sapphire Blue | 10 × 20s | $185 | 5mg | 0.6mg |
| Manchester Royal Red | 10 × 20s | $185 | 12mg | 0.9mg |

Manchester Cigarettes Price: Why the Exact Variant Matters
When searching for Manchester cigarettes price, the result can depend on which Manchester product you mean.
There is no single price that applies to every Manchester cigarette. Smokers Connect currently lists different Manchester variants at different prices.
Manchester Special Blue is currently listed at $185, while Manchester Blue Crush and Manchester Double Drive are currently listed at $190. Other Manchester products, including Manchester Sapphire Blue and Manchester Royal Red, are currently listed at $185.
Manchester Blue Special Edition Product Format
The Manchester Special Blue listing is presented as a carton containing 10 packets of 20 cigarettes.
Each packet is therefore a 20s pack, while the full carton contains 200 cigarettes.
The product page identifies the size as 20s and the carton format in the product title as 10 packets × 20s.
This format is also used for several other Manchester products on the Smokers Connect website, so the carton size alone should not be used to identify a specific variant.
The product name, listed specifications, and current product page are more reliable identifiers.
Manchester Blue Special Edition vs Manchester Sapphire Blue
The two names are easy to mix up because both contain “Blue.”
Manchester Special Blue is currently listed at 8mg tar and 0.8mg nicotine. Manchester Sapphire Blue is a separate product, with available product information listing 5mg tar and 0.6mg nicotine.
Their current listed carton prices are both $185 on Smokers Connect.
The difference in product names and specifications means they should be treated as separate Manchester cigarette variants when writing product comparisons or answering searches.
